Knife Defense Seminar @ Hood River
On August, 5 2023, the DSA Bagani Kali Combatives Canada Team drove 7.5 hours to Hood River, Oregon to visit Hood River Martial arts dojang to attend a Knife Defense Seminar. It was lead by Mr. Ryan Cordero who just received his 5th Dan ITF degree on the same day. Mr. Cordero showed us techniques on how to disarm a knife attacker using bare hands. Mr. Andaya and some of his students also went through Kali evaluation. We were also able to visit Master Brian McNamara, 8 dan ITF, founder of Hood River Martial Arts.
